Who Can Participate and How?


Anyone can attend online sessions but registration is required to receive certificate of presentation or participation.

National presenter/participant will require PSHS membership at the time of abstract submission/registration.

Event is FREE for foreign presenters (affiliated with institutes outside Pakistan).

Abstract submission or Registration (Free): December 31, 2020

Abstract submission (Late Fee): January 15, 2021 (Rs. 500)

Registration for Participation Certificate: February 22, 2021

Acceptance of abstract and decision for oral or poster presentation: January 20, 2021

Submission of oral or poster presentations: February 10, 2021

Submission of full length paper*: February 17, 2021

*Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published FREE in “Journal of Horticultural Science & Technology

PSHS membership Directory is updated every 24 hours. Please submit your abstract or register only after your name shows up in “Membership Directory” as “Life Member”, “Regular Member (2021)” or “Student Member (2021)”.

Instruction to Authors/Presenters


Abstract

Title should be written in “Title Case”. Each author should be separated by comma and last author by using ‘and’. Corresponding author surname must have * (sign). Affiliation should have detailed address (indicating Institution, City, Country). Corresponding author must provide email address. Abstract main text should be a single paragraph and should not exceed 250 words. Only abstracts submitted in English will be reviewed. Abstracts should be based upon original research work and must be submitted by the presenting author. All abbreviations must be spelled out on first use. Abstracts thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar should be submitted.

Oral Presentation

  • Oral presentation session is a major part of this symposium.
  • Presentation should be in MS power point format.
  • Please record your power point slide show of maximum 10~12 minutes.
  • For question session 3 minutes will be given during each oral presentation.
  • To achieve appropriate timing, organize your slides around the points you intend to make, using no more than one slide per minute.
  • Presenters are requested to email their recorded oral presentations at “ihc2021@uaf.edu.pk” on or before February 10, 2021.
  • First slide should contain Research title, Presenter name, Supervisor name and Degree name.
  • Presentation must contain introduction (Max. 2 slides), Material & Methods (Max. 2 slides), Results & Discussion and conclusion slides (1 slide) and acknowledgements if any.
  • Plan to cover at most 6 points per slide, covered by 6 to 12 spoken sentences and no more than about two spoken minutes.

e-Poster Presentation

  • Maximum 3 power point slides.
  • Place University of Agriculture Faisalabad logo at the top left corner of e-poster (If any HEC affiliated funding agency is a part of the research then put that agency logo on the top right corner).
  • Title, name, and affiliations, objective and background of research should appear on first slide.
  • In 2- 3 slides add material & methods, results, pictures, and conclusion.
  • Minimum font size for Title 36 points and for Text 24 points.
  • Font style should be Times New Roman.
  • Authors are requested to send their e-poster on or before February 10, 2021 at “ihc2021@uaf.edu.pk“.
